Care Instructions for Natural, Handwoven, and Block Print Textiles

General Guidelines:

• Wash before first use.
• Use cold or warm water on a delicate cycle.
• Avoid zippers, buttons, or sharp objects when washing.
• Blot stains (don’t rub) and spot test stain removers.
• Avoid harsh detergents and bleach.
• Use wool dryer balls instead of fabric softeners.
• Hang dry or tumble dry on low. High heat may shrink or damage fibers.
• Expect shedding and pilling at first—this decreases with use.

Product-Specific Care:

• Turkish Towels: Soak overnight in cold water to boost softness and absorbency.
• Luxury Robes & Apparel: Hand wash or machine wash in a garment bag; hang to dry.
• Woven Blankets & Throws: Delicate wash; hang or tumble dry on low.
• Tassels & Threads: Twist and knot loose tassels. Trim, don’t pull, loose threads.
• Block Printed Items: Hand wash or cold delicate cycle with mild detergent. Use ½ cup white vinegar or a color keeper to prevent color bleed. Hang to dry.
• Note: Natural fabrics produce more lint than synthetics, especially linen. Wash separately initially.
