Instructions for Reshaping Bolga Baskets
Your Bolga basket will arrive in a flattened, folded version to reduce its size for shipping. Don't worry, it is easily reshaped following the simple instructions below!
- Spray it lightly with water or run a section you need to shape under water.
- Let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the water, and it will become pliable. Do not fully submerge it in water to avoid the possibility of the running the natural dyes.
- While damp, gently press it back into form by hand, and then let it air dry. They are woven while wet because the material is easier to work with, so you will not harm the basket with this process!
