1. Clean - Remember to leave only footprints on the beach and always pick up any litter you find. This helps keep the habitat safe and clean for all wildlife.
2. Dark - Avoid using flashlights on the beach at night. Artificial lights can disorient and confuse vulnerable hatchlings as they try to find their way to the sea.
3. Flat - When you leave the beach, please flatten any sandcastles and fill in any holes. These structures, while fun for us, can unfortunately trap vulnerable hatchlings, making their journey to the ocean impossible. Thank you for doing your part to protect these amazing animals!
