Ramie is a plant in the nettle family originating in Asia. It's been used to make the fibers in this pouf. The fabric is all-natural, eco-friendly, and sustainable. The fabric is not flexible or elastic, it's strong, lightweight, breathable, and durable. Ramie fabric is seen as a replacement for both cotton and linen. It dries quickly and remains strong when wet. Like Bamboo, it is anti-bacterial, making it a very healthy fabric to use and to wear.
Care Instructions: Please wring it out after each use and let it hang to dry. It can be cleaned with a bleach water solution once a month to prolong the life.
