🌍 About the Artisan: As a woman-owned pottery company in Virginia, AMG started in 1989 from a desire to not have a “real job” while pursuing an equestrian career. Having already acquired the equipment to produce pottery, it enticed her to get a wheel and try her hand at throwing. It didn’t take long for her inner creative self to surface. Life, marriage and children slowly pushed her equestrian career to a back seat, and the pottery studio became the "real job." Her styles have changed over the years, but nature remains her primary inspiration.
